Design Group is currently looking for exhibit & event designers for an
entry to mid-level exhibit design position. Our ideal candidate would be a
talented, well-rounded, versatile 3D / exhibit designer looking for a
fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. Most of all, not grumpy.
Core
is an exciting and fast paced independent design firm based in the west suburbs
of Chicago. As an independent design firm in business for almost 15 years, we
offer our clients a dedicated, reliable and confidential design source,
specializing in retail, corporate environment, and custom trade show exhibit
design.

Our
ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Looking for a full-time opportunity - Please no freelance designers.
- Chicago Area resident or soon to be.
- Design Degree - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Interior, and Architecture Design.
- Professional / Client Service skills – This is our business, and service is paramount.
- Strong 3D computer modeling / rendering skills and a willingness to learn new rendering programs.
- Adaptive - Ability to adapt quickly, while taking direction in a deadline orientated environment.
- Collaborative - Capable of working in a team collaborative design process, yet possess the self motivation & time management skills to run their own projects within deadlines.
- Conceptual Skills - Strong conceptual sketching, space-planning, and floor plan design skills.
- Computer Skills - Proficiency on a PC.
- Software Skills - Proficiency in Photoshop a must & a general knowledge of Illustrator.
- Computer modeling / rendering experience in MAX or FormZ (not required, but a plus). Computer modeling / rendering experience in Bentley Microstation (not required, but a HUGE plus).

Compensation will be based on portfolio examples
and exhibit industry experience. Full-time employees receive medical, dental,
visions, paid vacation & retirement contribution benefits.
We have a very open studio located in Warrenville,
IL. (Just North of Naperville, off I-88). Full-time employees receive salary,
medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, and retirement contributions.
